Management Team
Azhar Habib
Managing Director
With over 20 years of international TV experience, Azhar was one of the founding partners of WildTrack Productions in 2004... A company which he continues to run rather inefficiently! His forte is live cricket and after stints at IMG/TWI and TEN Sports, he is now a full time arm chair executive producer! When not producing sports... He is often seen indulging in his first love of horse riding. An early victim of wanderlust, he spends a serious amount of time planning elaborate adventure trips which never happen!
Ian Carless
Executive Director
Ian has been working in television for over 25 years and has fulfilled key production and management roles for local and international broadcasters. His achievements throughout his career to date feature several start-up ventures including Ten Sports, Star TV, MTV (Philippines) and the World Sport Group. He is particularly noted for his ability to ‘get the job done’ in unusually demanding circumstances. Away from the camera, lights and ‘action’, Ian is an enthusiastic but hopeless surfer and laments the fact he is too old to start his own boy band!
Graham Rendell
Head of Engineering
Graham has been working in sports since the early 1990's, working as the engineering manager for various broadcasters. He has been involved in advising federations on improving broadcast facilities at many grounds. In 2007 he was the broadcast engineering manager for the ICC World Cup working across all seven Caribbean countries. Since 1994, he has also been working on the summer and winter Olympic Games. He has 3 Sports Emmy awards as part of various technical teams and is still waiting to buy his beach villa in Sri Lanka!
BMDP Lakpriya
Chief Engineer
Lakpriya has been an integral part of WildTrack's OB operations from the very beginning. Claims to be a qualified electrical engineer from the UK and has been in the industry since 2003. Prior to WildTrack, he was Head of Engineering at CSN in Sri Lanka and has also worked with Video Europe, Arena, NEP and Televideo on cricket broadcasts. Apart from being a guarantee engineer on all WIldTrack Outside Broadcasts, he is also an avid aero modeler but his planes always crash before take off... he is still seeking help!
